Loyal supporters of the actress are demanding that a man who breached a fence and touched the celebrity during yesterday's Wicked: For Good debut be arrested or expelled from Singapore.

A widely shared video reveals the individual from Australia bypassing camera operators and lunging at Grande while the cast made its way down a yellow carpet flanked by onlookers.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo quickly guided the stunned performer away from Mr Wen, who was seen being led away of the premiere by event staff.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "released after being taken in", though legal records showed that he was set to be present on the next day. It is uncertain if he was formally accused.

Pattern of Incidents

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Troll Most Hated", has disrupted a performance. His Instagram feed features videos of him disrupting other high-profile occasions, including rushing the platform at Katy Perry's Sydney performance in June this year and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers performance in the same location last December.

"Steps should be implemented enforced against him as this is clearly a criminal offence," wrote an Instagram follower, in a reply to a video Mr Wen posted of his act.

"Oh wow so you do this a lot... how aren't you in jail?" another Instagram user questioned.

Fans Express Concern Over the Star's Safety

Many followers accused Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had spoken of dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder after a terrorist explosion at the finale of her spring 2017 concert in Manchester, killing 22 people and wounding numerous individuals.

"The star has endured numerous terrifying experiences... including the Manchester tragedy, and you believed breaching security was amusing?" said a further message on Instagram.

A number of supporters also questioned guards at the gathering for not being adequately prepared; while different individuals requested online networks to block Mr Wen's uploads.

Response and Event Details

In footage shared widely, Grande appeared startled when she was approached by the individual. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen comforting her while Mr Wen was removed by staff.

Grande has not commented on the situation, and the rest of the event carried on uninterrupted.

Numerous of fans had gathered in a sea of emerald and rose at the Wicked: For Good international launch in a Singapore venue, including several who had stood in line for as long as many hours before it commenced.

The motion picture, to be premiered on November 21, is the follow-up of a two-film version of the acclaimed Broadway and West End musical Wicked, which revolves around the unlikely relationship between two distinct characters.

The musical itself is a spin-off of the classic book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who plays the benevolent sorceress Glinda, was decked out in a champagne pink sparkling outfit at the premiere while Erivo, who acts as the Elphaba, wore a elegant ensemble decorated with roses.

They were accompanied by cast member Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the most successful motion picture of last year in the UK, and scored a dozen Academy Award nods, earning several for excellent wardrobe and set decoration.
