Trump's Family Member Seeks Expert Guidance from Tiger Woods Before Professional Golf First Appearance

Emerging athlete getting ready for major tournament

The rising star maintains considerable online following

Kai Trump can count on numerous high-profile backers when she starts her first LPGA appearance on Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who is related to a former US president, received a tournament invitation to play at the Annika competition in Florida.

The former president, someone who loves golf, owns numerous golf courses and often matches against Kai.

"He's fairly competent. I shouldn't elaborate but we have some close matches," she stated.

Kai explained that Trump, who won't be present, counseled her: "Simply avoid anxiety."

"My grandpa basically advised me to play and have fun," she added.

"From my perspective, he's simply a normal grandpa. He won't be there this weekend. He's focused on presidential duties, making him quite busy."

As an amateur, the golfer has participated in just three tournaments recently and maintains the 461st position in the American Junior Golf Association listings.

Yet she can seek guidance from golf legend, who is dating Vanessa.

"He represents the greatest golfer globally," the young golfer said.

"Additionally, he's an even better human being. He suggested me to compete, relax, adapting to whatever happens."

The golfer will compete against several top competitors in the sport at the Annika, such as world number two Nelly Korda, British Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.

Officials mentioned that Kai's presence brings golf to new audiences, specifically among younger fans.

The young star boasts a massive following and has started a personal fashion and living brand.

The competition starts at late afternoon GMT.
